At Thaxted Primary School we are very proud of our school meals.

Our kitchen has a hygiene rating of 5.

All of our meals are cooked fresh on site and include a vegetarian option.  The children are offered a main course, with an additional fresh salad bar and variety of desserts including fresh fruit.  School meals are of a high quality, providing the children with a nutritionally balanced and tasty lunchtime meal. Menus are created in advance and shared with parents and the menus are regularly revised and reviewed in consultation with the children.
Meals are in eaten in the school hall.
