Christmas Fayre
Christmas Fayre - Friday 14th December
The PTA and all the classes in the school are busy preparing for the Christmas Fayre. There are lots of exciting things planned and we hope it will be a great fundraiser. Thank you to all the lovely people who have volunteered to run stalls and activities, your help is really appreciated and we look forwards to a successful event.
Here are a few details for next week in preparation…
- You’ll be able to buy tickets for Santa’s Grotto before and after school (Monday to Thursday) in the playground – the price is £3 and includes a gift, as well as, a free activity. Parents will be able to take a photo of their own child with Santa.
- Toy donations – if you have any toys or books to donate to our pre-loved stall, we will be collecting these in the playground each morning, apart from on Thursday.
- Please remember to buy some Raffle tickets – we have some amazing prizes donated by local businesses, including Love2Shop vouchers, a drone, a Pamper Hamper and much, much more. Please return your money and stubs to Reception.
- On Monday, you’ll be receiving a plate and a request to donate cakes or sweet treats for one of our stalls – we have some amazing bakers in Thaxted, so please get cooking! Remember – no nuts.
- Don’t forget, we’ll also have a BBQ and refreshments on Friday, so no need to dash off to prepare tea either!
Lastly we really value your support – the Christmas Fete is one of our most important events. The money we raise this year is going to contribute to improvements to the playground – Mrs Hughes will be sharing her plans with everyone soon and we are really proud to be contributing financially.
