Dates for Diaries

Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers

We will not be sending out a newsletter this week, but we wanted to remind you of a few dates for your diaries:

Lollies

Firstly a reminder that the PTA will be on the playground selling lollies at the end of school today, so please remember to bring some cash when you come to pick up!

Monday 12th July

We have dance workshops taking place in school on Monday, which means that the children will be having a picnic lunch rather than eating in the hall.  The lunch will consist of a choice of a ham, cheese or tuna roll, a packet of crisps, raisins, cucumber, orange segments, a biscuit and a carton of juice.

Thursday 15th July - Parents Afternoon/Evening

The children will finish at  lunchtime on this day in preparation for our Parent's Afternoon/Evening.  Pick-ups will be staggered as follows:

A - G:  11.50

H - P:  11.55

P - Z:  12.00

If you child is in reception, year 1 or 2, you will have received a form on Parentmail asking you to confirm whether you would like them to bring a packed lunch home.  If you have not completed the form we will assumed that you don't want a packed lunch.

Friday 16th July

As part of our International Week next week, we are inviting the children to come to school dressed in the colours of a flag.  They can wear any sensible clothing of their choice, including a sports kit.

We also have our Transition Morning on Friday 16th.  The children will meet their new teachers on the playground, and we will ensure that current bubbles are kept separate.  The children will complete an activity to get them prepared for next term and will have an opportunity to ask their new teachers any questions.  We plan to hold meet the teacher sessions for parents at the start of the Autumn term, when we hope to meet you all in person and share any class specific information.   You will be receiving confirmation of which class your child is moving to in bookbags today.

Also, a reminder that Wednesday the 21st July is the last day of term.  The children will finish at the normal time.

We hope you all have a good weekend and fingers crossed for the football on Sunday!
