Lastest Covid-19 Information

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am sorry to contact you all yet again in the holidays but in the last couple of hours there have been further developments. This afternoon the Director of Education for Essex Clare Kershaw has directed all schools (who were currently due to open) to remain closed on Monday and Tuesday. As we were due to have a non-pupil day tomorrow, this only affects us on Tuesday.

School will therefore remain closed on Tuesday 5th January and learning will be offered remotely. However, we will be able to offer a school place for the children of key workers and those children classed as vulnerable, if parents wish to accept it. I have pasted the link below for further clarification on if your job role falls under the heading of 'critical/key worker' and if your child may be classed as vulnerable.

If you would like a school place on Tuesday then please complete the form which has been emailed by ParentMail. You only need to complete this form if you do require a place. This form will need to be completed by 10am tomorrow, at the latest, in order for us to put provision in place. Once we have all forms in we will contact you to confirm your child's place and explain what we are able to offer. The offer of Breakfast and After School Club will depend on the number of families who require this service-therefore please add this in the note box at the bottom of the form if you do need this service.

As the guidance stands at this current time, school will be open to all children on Wednesday 6th January 2021.

Best wishes
